一、 教学对象
本课程适用于大学英语四级考试成绩在425分以上(包括425分),已经达到《大学英语课程教学要求》中“基本要求”的非英语专业文理等本科二年级的学生,特别是希望进一步提高英语听说技能、增强跨文化交流意识、扩宽知识视野和提升思辨能力的学生。
二、教学目的
《国际交流英语视听说》课程精心挑选《国家地理》原版影音材料,古今并蓄,文理并重,让学生全方位领略世界各地文化,以提升学生科学文化素养;同时,课程关注学术前沿,通过学术讲座、专家采访等形式激发学生探索人文和科学进步的兴趣,帮助学生提升思维深度;其次,该课程的教学注重听力过程和听力策略的讲解,口语训练与听力材料紧密结合,课堂活动与课下自主学习资源相配合,目的是综合提高学生在各交际环境下的听说技能;最后,本课程设计以学生学习和发展为根本,引导学生的学习习惯、思维方式等,使学生在学习知识和技能的同时,提升综合素质,获得全面发展。

四、教学方法
课程主要采用以下教学方法:
1)输入和输出有机结合:课堂上教师注重听力过程,将口语训练与听力输入材料紧密结合,在吸收和内化基础上,帮助学生实现有效输出。
2)活动教学法与多媒体技术相结合:用灵活多样的练习形式,依托多媒体技术,引导学生根据接收到的多模态信息做积极、有效的讨论和展示,同时注重培养学生推断预测、独立思考以及团队合作能力。
五、考核方法
本课程的考核包括以下内容:
课堂出勤情况、平时作业及平时课堂表现(主要指平时小组讨论、小组对话以及个人平时发言情况);期末听力及口语测试。
考核采用百分制形式,具体分值如下:
1)课堂出勤、课堂表现及平时作业50分。
2)期末听力及口语测试50分,两部分各占25分。
