一、 教学对象

本课程适用于大学英语四级考试成绩在425分以上（包括425分），已经达到《大学英语课程教学要求》中“基本要求”的非英语专业文理等本科二年级的学生，特别是希望进一步提高英语听说技能、增强跨文化交流意识、扩宽知识视野和提升思辨能力的学生。

二、教学目的

《国际交流英语视听说》课程精心挑选《国家地理》原版影音材料，古今并蓄，文理并重，让学生全方位领略世界各地文化，以提升学生科学文化素养；同时，课程关注学术前沿，通过学术讲座、专家采访等形式激发学生探索人文和科学进步的兴趣，帮助学生提升思维深度；其次，该课程的教学注重听力过程和听力策略的讲解，口语训练与听力材料紧密结合，课堂活动与课下自主学习资源相配合，目的是综合提高学生在各交际环境下的听说技能；最后，本课程设计以学生学习和发展为根本，引导学生的学习习惯、思维方式等，使学生在学习知识和技能的同时，提升综合素质，获得全面发展。

四、教学方法

课程主要采用以下教学方法：

1）输入和输出有机结合：课堂上教师注重听力过程，将口语训练与听力输入材料紧密结合，在吸收和内化基础上，帮助学生实现有效输出。

2）活动教学法与多媒体技术相结合：用灵活多样的练习形式，依托多媒体技术，引导学生根据接收到的多模态信息做积极、有效的讨论和展示，同时注重培养学生推断预测、独立思考以及团队合作能力。

五、考核方法

本课程的考核包括以下内容：

课堂出勤情况、平时作业及平时课堂表现(主要指平时小组讨论、小组对话以及个人平时发言情况)；期末听力及口语测试。

考核采用百分制形式，具体分值如下：

1）课堂出勤、课堂表现及平时作业50分。

2）期末听力及口语测试50分，两部分各占25分。
